Theodore R. O’Neill has extensive experience in technology research. Following 6 years in the U.S. defense industry, culminating with a senior position at a Star Wars Weapons developer, he entered the financial services industry in 1988. He has covered advanced technology stocks for 16 years and was the lead analyst for the first solar IPO in the U.S. He was a leader in the alternative energy sector and wrote some of the first research reports ever for several of the now leading green technology companies including CREE. He has worked for such venerable firms as H.C. Wainwright, Needham & Co., and A.G. Edwards. His academic background includes degrees in electrical engineering, business and an MBA from Indiana University. He was one of the first analysts to pass the series 86 and 87 exams when they were introduced and has won multiple “Best on the Street” awards from the Wall Street Journal. He is married and lives in Litchfield County, Connecticut with his wife and 5 year old child.
