You can ensure your money is working for you,

that would otherwise be idle — including deposits,
dividends, interest and proceeds from the sale of
securities — is invested each night into your choice
of money market funds or an FDIC-insured account.

With the Advantage Account, you can buy stocks,
bonds, mutual fund shares or other investments without
writing a check — instead, your fund balance is
charged automatically on settlement date.

Medallion Private Credit Line
Our Private Credit Line provides overdraft protection
up to the margin value of your marginable securities.

      simply by writing a check or using your optional
      ATM card or VISA® Platinum Check Card.4
    • No application form to fill out.
    • Choose your own payment schedule — no fixed
      monthly payment or fixed maturity date as long
      as your account meets our margin requirements.
    • Interest you pay on your loan may be taxdeductible
       up to the total of your taxableinvestment income

       from all sources, if the money is borrowed for

       investment purposes.

     • Overdraft protection — covers checking overdrafts.

Automatic Reinvestment
Each day, any idle cash balance of $1,000 or more in
your Advantage Account will be swept into your money
market fund automatically. Every dollar that goes into
your Advantage Account (such as checks you deposit,
dividends, interest and proceeds from sales of securities)
quickly starts earning dividends for you.

Direct Deposit
You can make automatic deposits from your paycheck
or government checks, such as Social Security, via
electronic funds transfer. This can be done for the
entire amount or for a portion in the amount of
$25 or more per check — and there’s no charge
for this feature.

Automatic Payments
You can arrange monthly debits for recurring payments
like mortgages, insurance drafts or mutual fund
investments — again, at no charge.

Medallion Account Checking Package
The Advantage Account includes:

     • Free initial supply of checks, remittance slips, a
       check register and a checkbook cover.
     • Optional three-to-a-page, corporate-style checks
        available for additional fee.
     • VISA® Platinum Check Card.
     • Return of all cancelled checks. Does not apply to
        corporate-style checks.
     • No minimum balance to maintain once you’ve
        opened your account.
