James E. Harwood, Director of Investment Banking
Prior to joining Wunderlich Securities in 2001, Mr. Harwood was a Senior Vice President with Morgan Keegan’s investment banking group. During his eight-year tenure, he completed more than 60 transactions encompassing public and private placement of debt and equity securities valued at over $4 billion, as well as advisory assignments for mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Harwood holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Millsaps College and an M.B.A. from Emory University. Mr. Harwood is a board member of the Harwood Center, an early childhood intervention
Caldwell (Collie) D. Lowrance, Jr., Managing Director
Before joining Wunderlich Securities in June 2004, Mr. Lowrance was a partner at Bass, Berry & Sims and previously an associate attorney with Baker Donelson, Bearman & Caldwell and Glanker Brown PLLC. During his 13 years of private practice, Mr. Lowrance advised clients in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, re-capitalizations, equity and debt financings (including venture capital and private equity fund financing and private offerings for start-up, early and later stage businesses), corporate planning, and tax planning and structuring. Mr. Lowrance received a B.A. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987, a J.D. from Tulane University School of Law in 1992, and an LLM in Taxation from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1995. Mr. Lowrance is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Arkansas.
John S. Moore, Managing Director – Mr. Moore joined Wunderlich Securities in 1999. He has been in investment banking since 1992. Mr. Moore has structured a variety of capital financing transactions and served clients in a number of turnaround management engagements. Previously, he served 17 years in commercial banking, including Controller, Treasurer, and Senior Vice President of Finance with First Tennessee National Corporation (now First Horizon National Corp.)and as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of United American Bank. Mr. Moore began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co. His 30+ years of experience in the financial field includes significant expertise in the restructuring of troubled businesses through strategic analysis, management realignment, cost restructuring, and creative financing structures. Mr. Moore holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Memphis, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
